After another day of near record temperatures on Sunday, we’ll see a slight drop in temperatures to kick off the new week.
We are tracking a weak disturbance today and Tuesday which will bring a chance of spotty showers and thunderstorms to parts of our state. Aside from some sprinkles in the Valley, the best bet for rain will be in the higher terrain of northern Arizona.
Temperatures will drop a few degrees over the next few days, topping out around 103 to 104 today, tomorrow and Wednesday.
Wildfire smoke moving in from the west continues to blanket our skies and conditions will be hazy again today.
Temperatures will climb back to near 105 on Thursday and Friday. Then drop a few degrees again this weekend as another disturbances passes by to our north.
Early morning lows will be in the 70s Valley-wide throughout the week.
