A man paid a hefty bond amount to get out of jail after police found multiple drugs and guns and a large sum of cash in his home, authorities said.
Atlanta police conducted a search warrant in an apartment in the 500 block of Northside Circle Northwest on Wednesday. Officers said 26-year-old Akbar Mohammed Abdullah walked out of a back door and then went back inside the house as soon as he saw police.
When authorities entered Abdullah’s apartment, they said they found guns, large quantities of various drugs worth around $155,000 and more than $12,000 in cash.
Abdullah was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute various drugs, possession of a firearm and trafficking marijuana, police said.
He was booked into the Fulton County jail on Wednesday, but was released Friday on a $72,500 bond, police said.
