A man accused of fatally shooting his 20-year-old girlfriend and leaving her body in a Gwinnett County neighborhood was arrested Monday in New Jersey, according to authorities.

Investigators tracked Moses Dyl to Atlantic City, New Jersey, where U.S. Marshals took him into custody, according to a tweet from the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office.

Gwinnett County police identified Dyl as a suspect in Shakeya Smith’s death following the Sept. 12 shooting, which was captured on neighborhood security cameras. The woman’s body was discovered in the roadway near Roxwood Park Drive and Woodward Mill Road shortly after 5 a.m, police said.

It is not clear when Dyl will be extradited from New Jersey to Georgia, where he faces charges of felony murder and aggravated assault.
