Announcement – Hold On To Your Chef’s Hat!

Hey, hey…it’s Ellen Britt your Hometown Foodie and Atlanta News and Talk Ambassador. Hold on to your chef’s aprons y’all because I have some exciting news…I enrolled today in the Rouxbe (say “ROOS-be”) Plant Based Professional Certification Course!

Rouxbe is the world’s largest professional online culinary school and boasts some 300,000 students from around the world. The Plant Based Certification is just one of the many courses Rouxbe offers, whether you just want to brush up on your home cooking skills with a Rouxbe Membership or you aspire to become a professional cook.



 

I will be documenting my progress through this intensive six month program right here in my Hometown Foodie column on our local Atlanta News And Talk website and all our sister affiliated CNT sites to which my content is syndicated.

Make no mistake, this course is NOT for the fainthearted, as it consists of some 18 Units, 447 tasks to be completed and 428 instructional videos, plus a final exam. I must complete the course and pass the final within six months in order to be certified.

You will get to learn right alongside me as I amp up my culinary skills in the fast expanding world of plant based cooking.
