South Fulton police chief, wife test positive for COVID-19

South Fulton’s police chief and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, according to a Facebook post.

Chief Keith Meadows made the announcement late afternoon on Facebook, saying, “FB family, Tanya and I tested positive for Covid 19 today.”

“Please stay vigilant and continue to protect yourselves,” Meadows wrote. “We trust that God will deliver a healing hand.”

More than 600 people have already commented on the Facebook post by sending prayers and wishing the couple the best of luck.

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, there have been more than 329,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state and 7,348 Georgians have died from it.
