Multiple early voting locations in metro Atlanta planned delayed openings Thursday due to storm damage and power outages.

In Fulton County, the following voting locations were affected: Ponce de Leon Library, Wolf Creek Library, Adams Park Library, Chastain Park, East Roswell Library, Helene Mills Senior Center, Milton Library, Etris Community Center and Milton Library, the county posted on social media.

In Cobb County, advance voting locations delayed opening until 10 a.m. But the county said that could be later depending on when power is restored.

Paulding County delayed voting until 10 a.m. at its three locations.

In DeKalb County, voting locations were open as scheduled and prepared with backup batteries and generators, officials said.

Those planning to vote Thursday were advised to check with local elections officials before heading out to vote.

Friday is the last day of advance voting before Tuesday’s election. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Wednesday that voters should be ready for long lines during the final days of voting as turnout continues to rise.
