Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker buys Paradise Valley estate for $4.73M

Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker purchased a luxury estate in Paradise Valley’s Club Estates community.

The home ranks among this week’s priciest home sale in metro Phoenix. 

$4,725,000

Baker’s new home sits on one acre with views of Camelback Mountain and features a large upstairs patio and a resort-style pool.

Baker signed a four-year contract extension with the Cardinals in August. He was named the NFC’s defensive player of the month for October.

The 7,492 square-foot contemporary-style mansion was built in 2016 and has a private courtyard, a home theater and a six-car garage. The home comes with vaulted brick barrel ceilings, limestone-surrounded fireplaces and a stone wine cellar that holds 1,000 bottles.

Eric Weinbrenner sold the home through a trust.

Joseph and Karen Reale of Hingham, Massachusetts purchased a hillside lot estate in Paradise Valley’s Clearwater Hills community.

The luxurious home features a split floor plan, stacked stone wall accents and grounds that include a negative edge pool and spa.

The 5,081-square-foot residence has five bedrooms and 5½ bathrooms.

Nan Corwin sold the home.

Frederick and Patricia Green of Brooksville, Maine paid cash for a Spanish-style estate with a front courtyard in Scottsdale’s Silverleaf at DC Ranch community.

The 4,274-square-foot home comes with a smart home system and a master’s suite that includes a bathroom with a steam shower and his-and-hers vanities. Grounds of the estate feature a pool, firepit and a separate guest house.

Kevin Reynolds and Marnye Summers of Bend, Oregon purchased a contemporary-style mansion in Scottsdale’s Saguaro Forest at Desert Mountain community.

The 6,434-square-foot home was built this year and has five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Red Moon Homes Inc., an Arizona corporation, sold the 1.19-acre property.

$3,225,000

Kevin and Dana Peters purchased an estate in Scottsdale’s Mirabel Club community.

The 5,806-square-foot house has four bedrooms and 4½ bathrooms.

The estate has views of the Mirabel golf course and includes a kitchen with a walk-in pantry, a home office and a covered outdoor living space.

LTG Partners III, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, sold the house.
